/ On Sunday, the French “Monte Carlo” website revealed an Internet hacker group calling itself “Cyber Flood Al-Aqsa” that carried out cyber attacks on Israeli targets, seized an important database, and took control of the sites of those targets, the most important of which was the Israeli Ministry of Defense. and Signature IT.

The group leaked data that included the names, phone numbers, email content, and commercial transactions of millions of people in several Israeli companies and government agencies, but the stolen data did not include banking information.

The group announced on its channel on the Telegram platform that they had hacked a number of Israeli websites, in a series of cyber attacks since the outbreak of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

Cyber Flood Al-Aqsa confirmed the hacking and theft of a large number of files from Signature IT, which is considered one of the largest data server companies in Israel, and whose clients include Israeli government offices, companies and bodies.

The group also penetrated, according to what was published on Telegram, the customer database of Auto Depot, Home Center, and many others. They also penetrated the Israeli Ministry of Defense and obtained data on the specialization of reserve soldiers and important files of the Israeli army.

Although the Israeli Ministry of Defense did not comment or deny this hack, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported earlier that a huge hack had occurred on the servers of Signature, which the Israeli Defense Forces deals with.

According to a report published by Bloomberg, piracy operations on Israeli websites have increased, as the Israeli cybersecurity company CheckPont confirmed that the piracy operations that began since the outbreak of the war between the Israeli army and the Hamas movement are similar in style and characteristics to Iranian hacking groups.

“It is clear that Iran and its affiliates are escalating their cyber attacks, and the attacks are increasing and causing real damage now,” said CheckPont Chief of Staff Jill Messing.

He added, “Every day they leak large databases taken from websites belonging to at least one source.”

Israeli reports have also been published about attempts by hackers affiliated with the Islamic Republic to penetrate important companies and bodies affiliated with or dealing with Israel in recent years, the most recent of which was when Israeli intelligence announced the thwarting of several attempts by Iranian hackers targeting government employees and researchers in Israeli government institutes and bodies in the month of July. the past.
