James (Jimmy) Slattery of Ballyanny, Nenagh, County Tipperary, has died on April 1st, 2026. Slattery was a lifetime president of Kildangan GAA Club and previously worked with Agritech.
James Slattery Passes Away
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary, sister Margaret O’Brien, brothers Billy and Bishop Hugh, son-in-law Adrian King (New Zealand), and granddaughter Martha.
Slattery is survived by his sons Eoin, Seamus, and Brian, daughter Sinéad, and sister Sr. Clare (Sheila). He is also survived by daughters-in-law Kathleen, Gretta, and Avril, and grandchildren Oisín, Sorcha, Elise, Éala, Rían, Lauren, Eimear, Briana, Dara, Hannah, Aoibhínn, Alexander, Alannah, Selena, and Avril’s daughter Aila. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Donnacha and Elle, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, work colleagues, and friends.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
