Maria Keane, formerly of St Johns Park, Waterford, has passed away on February 20, 2026. The family has expressed gratitude to the staff of the Gynae Ward at University Hospital Waterford.
Obituary
Mrs. Keane, née Guinan, resided at Pinewood Avenue, Hillview, Waterford. She was predeceased by her parents, Eily and Michael Guinan.
She is survived by her husband, Seamus; sons, Trevor and Gary; daughter, Karen; daughters-in-law, Michelle and Alina; son-in-law, Anthony; grandchildren, Sophie, Adam, Danny, and Zack; as well as her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing will take place at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Sunday, February 22nd, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, with vigil prayers and Rosary at 4:30pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on arrival at Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, on Monday, February 23rd, at 2:30pm, followed by a private cremation.
The family requests that their home remain private at all times.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Oak Ward, South East Palliative Care.
