Mary Reynolds, formerly of Tyholland, Co. Monaghan, and residing in Kilmaddaroe, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, surrounded by her family at Drumderrig Nursing Home in Boyle.
Obituary
Reynolds was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Margaret, her husband Eamonn, and siblings Denis, Oliver, Gertie, and Christina.
She is survived by her sons, John, Richard, and Terry; daughters-in-law, Julie, Laura, and Angelika; grandchildren Adam, Darcey, and Jemima; sister Anne; brother John; brothers-in-law Jimmy and Paddy; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing will take place at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church, Jamestown, on Monday, March 30, at 12:00 o’clock, followed by burial in Jamestown cemetery. The family requests privacy at their home.
Family flowers are requested to be omitted, with donations in lieu, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
