Patrick (Pat) Lynam of Castleredmond, Midleton, County Cork, passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2026, surrounded by family and while receiving care at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice.

Lynam is survived by his partner, Anne-Marie Waters, and their children, Emma, Sophie, and Celine. He is also survived by his mother, Mary, brother John, and sisters Jacinta, Carol, and Yvonne.
He was the cherished son of the late Patrick Lynam. Lynam will be deeply missed by his family, including Emma’s partner Hellen, as well as his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends from Midleton Men’s Shed.
Reposing will take place at O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, P25 X382 on Wednesday, March 25th, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.
A reception into Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton, will be held on Thursday, March 26th, for an 11:00am Funeral Mass, followed by a 1:00pm service at the Island Crematorium.
