At Archyworldys, trust is our currency. Our editorial process is designed to ensure accuracy, independence, and accountability in every story we publish.
1. Verification & Fact-Checking
We do not publish rumors as fact. Every article undergoes a rigorous verification process:
- Primary Sources: We prioritize official documents, direct quotes, and on-the-record statements over anonymous tips.
- The “Two-Source” Rule: Controversial claims must be corroborated by at least two independent sources.
- Human Review: No story is published automatically. A section editor reviews every piece of content for tone, accuracy, and legal compliance prior to publication.
2. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
We are a human-first newsroom. While we leverage technology to assist our reporting, we adhere to strict boundaries:
- Drafting vs. Publishing: AI tools may be used for transcriptions, data sorting, or headline brainstorming. However, AI never writes final copy.
- Oversight: Any content assisted by AI tools undergoes heightened scrutiny by senior editors to prevent hallucinations or bias.
3. Corrections Policy
We believe that transparency builds trust. When we make a mistake, we own it.
- Minor Errors: Typos or minor factual errors (e.g., a misspelled name) are corrected immediately.
- Substantive Corrections: If an error alters the meaning of a story, we add a “Correction:” note at the bottom of the article detailing the change and the timestamp.
4. Independence & Ethics
Archyworldys operates independently of external interests.
- No Pay-to-Play: Editorial coverage is never sold. Sponsored content is strictly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Partner Content.”
- Conflict of Interest: Reporters and editors are required to disclose any financial or personal conflicts related to the stories they cover.
