A fire broke out late Monday at Orchard Towers in Singapore, with videos showing flames and black smoke billowing from the mall’s second-floor carpark.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to the fire at 1 Claymore Drive, the address of Orchard Towers, at approximately 10:40 p.m.
The fire involved a car, according to the SCDF. Firefighters extinguished the blaze using a water jet and a fire blanket.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
A video of the incident posted to Reddit page r/SingaporeRaw shows the fire and smoke emanating from the carpark. Another video depicts a fire engine arriving at the scene.
Orchard Towers has experienced previous fires. In 2018, 60 people were evacuated after a fire broke out at a bar within the mall. In 2016, 15 people were evacuated due to another fire incident.
