A High Court bid by a Foxrock couple to overturn a housing development near their home has been deemed “misconceived” and “trivial” by An Coimisiún Pleanála, according to a new filing.

Tom Maughan, a senior executive with Bain Capital, and his wife Victoria, a Pilates teacher, expressed concerns regarding the potential impact of a proposed housing development on wild birds and heritage sites adjacent to their property in south Dublin.
The proposed development includes 10 houses and 38 apartments.
