Estonia will no longer provide or update Russian-language medicine instructions in its official register, according to the Medicines Department.

Changes to Medicine Instructions in Estonia
The Medicines Department stated that the register will continue to maintain instructions in Estonian. For products authorized for sale by the European Commission, information in English will also remain available.
Officials have determined that preparing and updating translations into Russian is no longer feasible. As a result, Russian-language inserts will no longer be updated or added to the system.
Prior to this decision, the Estonian Medicines Register contained just over 600 Russian-language inserts.
The government currently recommends that those needing translations use online tools. However, authorities noted that translations performed by artificial intelligence may not always be completely accurate.
