Iran vs Israel: Arab States, US Align – New Alliances?

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated it does not believe U.S. President Donald Trump will cut short the current war in the coming days. The IDF also reported ongoing communication with other countries in the region under the CENTCOM umbrella, and highlighted the level of coordination with the U.S. military.

IDF Coordination with U.S. Military

Over 1,000 American soldiers are currently in Israel to assist with joint war coordination with the IDF. Since the start of the war, there have been approximately 4,000-5,000 telephone calls, cockpit radio communications, and other forms of communication daily between Israeli and U.S. officials, representing an unprecedented level of coordination.

The IDF also complimented the U.S. on its refueling capacity, which is ten times greater than Israel’s, allowing for more frequent aircraft reuse for additional airstrikes.

Military Responsibilities

According to the IDF, Israel has primarily handled military operations in western Iran, parts of Tehran, and some of central Iran, while the U.S. has focused on southern Iran and parts of Tehran. Israel hopes to eventually handle operations in eastern Iran.

IDF sources did not identify which countries, beyond the U.S., are involved or the extent of their participation. However, foreign reports suggest that Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and potentially others may have already attacked Iran or expressed interest in doing so.
