Our national Kyokushinkai team won first place in teams in the 12th Arab Self-Defense Championship, which was held in Medina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and which concluded after midnight last Saturday.
The head of the Iraqi and Asian Football Federation, Ammar Wahib, told the (INA): “The first place in teams went to our players after they won 53 various medals, 27 gold, 16 silver, and ten bronze,” indicating that “Iraq was in control of the entire competition and was able to sweep Most medals.
Wahib added, “The Executive Office of the Arab Football Federation approved Iraq’s request to organize the 2024 Arab Championship competitions, which will be held in Baghdad next year.”
