Baghdad – IA
The Secretary of the Administrative Board of Karbala Club, Abdul Amir Huwaidi, revealed the reasons for the team’s low results in the current season of the Iraqi Stars Football League.

Huwaidi said in a statement to Al-Sabah newspaper, followed by the (INA), today, Monday: “The former coach Haider Aboudi did not succeed this season despite providing him with the required capabilities, such as training camps and paying all players’ dues from monthly salaries, in addition to retaining most of the players.” Last season, they made a great effort and were the turning point in the second stage when they placed the club in seventh place.”
Huwaidi added, “The other reason behind the dean’s low results is the lack of playing in Karbala Stadium, which has always been a difficult facility for all teams, and the consequent travel between stadiums, the short period to correct mistakes, and the physical effort on the players due to the pressure of the league’s match schedule.”
Huwaidi added, “The club’s management agreed to the resignation of coach Haider Aboudi, and an emergency session will be held to discuss the team’s situation, correct mistakes, and develop appropriate solutions, in addition to choosing the replacement who will lead the team for the coming period.”
