M66 Northbound Diversion Route
Motorists should exit the M66 northbound at Junction 3 and turn right onto Pilsworth Road, heading east. At the junction with Moss Hall Road, drivers are directed to turn left and continue north, where Moss Hall Road becomes Heap Brow.
Upon reaching the junction of Heap Brow and the A58 (Heap Bridge), road users must turn left onto the A58. To rejoin the M66 northbound, drivers should take the fourth exit at the A58 and M66 Junction 2 roundabout.
Weight Restrictions
An eighteen-tonne weight restriction is currently in place on this diversion route between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
