Mick Kenny of Caltra House, Easkey, Co. Sligo, has passed away peacefully at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by family. He was formerly of Glaneaskey and died on January 16, 2026.

Mr. Kenny was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Penelope Kenny, his sister Mary Kathleen, and infant sister Rose.
He is survived by his brother, Brian, sister-in-law Nora Kenny, cousins, relatives, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Sunday evening, January 18th, from 5:00pm, with removal at 6:30pm to St. James Church, Easkey, arriving at 7:15pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Monday morning, January 19th, at 11:00am, followed by burial in Roslea Cemetery, Easkey.
