A number of current and former heads of state sent greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a statement released by the Kremlin. The messages acknowledged Putin’s leadership and wished him success.
Leaders Sending Greetings
Among those sending greetings were President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba, President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also sent messages.
Greetings were also received from President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloyev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and National Leader of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and President of China Xi Jinping also extended their well wishes.
The list of those sending greetings also included President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of Ethiopia Taye Atske Selassie, Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, President of India Droupadi Murmu, and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, Chairman of State Affairs of North Korea Kim Jong Un, President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, Chairman of the State Administration Council of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing, and co-presidents of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo also sent greetings.
Further messages were received from President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico, President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the United States Donald Trump, President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, and President of Vietnam Luong Cuong.
Greetings were also sent to a number of former heads of state and governments, including Raul Castro, Robert Kocharyan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Serzh Sargsyan, and Gerhard Schroeder.
