Actor Nicolás Cabré confirmed the death of his older brother, Duilio Cabré, through a heartfelt message published on his social media accounts. The artist, who fiercely guards his personal life from media exposure, shared a smiling photograph of the two brothers to accompany his public farewell.

Nicolás Cabré stated via Lanacion that he found it unbelievable to be writing this, but he was there, and with all the pain in the world he wanted to tell him that it was wonderful that he had accompanied him through those 46 years.

The actor noted that Duilio was one year and eight months older than him, and the siblings shared an exceptionally close bond throughout their lives. The shock of Duilio’s passing follows a difficult succession of family losses for the television and theater star. In June 2025, Cabré mourned the death of his mother, Cristina Birckenstaedt. Years prior, in 2014, his father, Norberto Cabré, died of a heart attack while cleaning his taxi.
