Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is currently visiting Delhi for political meetings, where he discussed contemporary politics with Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and announced his continued support for a Bharat Ratna for Sr. NTR.
NTR Bharat Ratna Campaign
Reddy stated that Sr. NTR’s legacy extends beyond any single entity and rightfully deserves the Bharat Ratna, affirming his full support for the campaign to award the honor to the Telugu icon.
Statue in Ameerpet Confirmed
Reddy reiterated his commitment to erecting a statue of NTR in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, a promise originally made during the Jubilee Hills election campaign. He confirmed he will follow through on this pledge.
The chief minister also highlighted that it was a Congress government in 2013 that initially established an NTR statue in Parliament, demonstrating the party’s dedication to honoring NTR’s legacy.
