Paddy, formerly of Park West, Ahane, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family while under the care of Galway Hospice.
Obituary of Paddy
He was predeceased by his father Sonny, mother Nellie, brother-in-law JJ Smyth, and aunt Bridgie Egan.
Paddy is survived by his brothers Tom (Angela), Jimmy (Christine), and Vincent, as well as his sisters Nonie (John Tierney), Evelyn (John Cloherty), Mary (Martin Glennon), and Martina (Smyth).
He is sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.
Reposing will be held at Clonberne Community Centre (H53 W3W2) on Friday evening, December 19th, 2025, from 6:30 PM, with removal at 8:00 PM to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Clonberne (H53 XC89).
A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at 12:00 noon in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Clonberne, followed by burial in Clonberne Cemetery.
The family requests family flowers only, with donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
The family has requested privacy at their home.
