French actor and singer Pierre Rochefort has expanded his family at age 45. The birth of his second child, a daughter named Thelma, arrived on July 22, 2026, bringing a fresh chapter of parenthood following the summer arrival announced over social media.

While the identity of the artist’s companion remains unknown, public records trace his family lineage directly to prominent French cinema figures: his father was the late acclaimed actor Jean Rochefort, who passed away in October 2017, and his mother is director Nicole Garcia, who had notably directed him in Un beau dimanche.

Reflecting on that film collaboration, Pierre Rochefort previously shared with Gala in April that it was courageous of her and that he had everything to prove while assuming a privileged place he did not want.
