An Open Day event focused on sustainable business practices within the cultural and creative sectors will be hosted at the Riga Technical University, Institute of Architecture and Design on March 18th. The event is the first in a series planned across EIT Culture & Creativity’s six Regional Hubs throughout the year.
EIT Culture & Creativity Open Day in Riga
The Regional Hub North, based in Helsinki, covers Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, and parts of Northern Germany and Poland. The Hub aims to strengthen creative sectors – including gaming, design, architecture, and audiovisual media – and promote innovation through cultural practices.
Entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers, students, and creative practitioners will gather to explore collaboration opportunities and learn about upcoming activities and open calls from EIT Culture & Creativity.
Participants can optionally join a tour of Riga on the morning of March 19th to visit local creative organizations.
The event is organized with support from RTU Science & Innovation Centre, EIT Community Hub Latvia, Creativity Lab Latvia, and Latvia’s Ministry of Culture. Programme details and speakers will be announced soon. Registration is available here.
