Thai rock icon Sek Loso is returning to the stage for a massive 100 million baht concert at Rajamangala National Stadium on November 21. The 52-year-old performer, recently released from a one-year prison term, is preparing for the show with a rigorous, medically-assisted fitness regimen to reach his diamond body goal.
A 100 Million Baht Production and Original Lineup
The concert is designed to celebrate three decades of the band’s influence, featuring an original lineup that includes Apirat Sukjit, Kittisak Kotkham, Kritt Sunthran, Tiger Sretkarn Sukpimai, Teddy Nattanat Tiransombun, Tom Worabut Tieaprasert, and Ballso Pongsatorn Rungroj. The setlist is expected to span over 40 tracks, incorporating both classic hits and new material written by Sek during his time in prison.
Health, Fitness, and the Diamond Body Goal
The intensity of the preparation has been a family affair. While his wife, Karn Wiphakorn, has been booking a demanding schedule of performances, Sek noted that his sleep is sometimes limited to two or three hours a night. His son, Tiger Sretkarn, who will be joining him on stage, acknowledged that while his father is not naturally inclined toward exercise, the family is fully committed to the success of the Rajamangala performance.
Selling the Family Home
Amid the concert preparations, Sek confirmed reports that his wife is selling their Nanthawan home. While the property holds significant history and memories for the family, Sek stated that the move is a necessary step to secure funds for building a new home together.
Sek also highlighted the multi-generational appeal of his music, noting his surprise at seeing 10-year-olds and members of Generation Alpha singing his tracks at recent concerts. He attributed this reach to the accessibility of his catalog on platforms like YouTube and Spotify, noting that many younger fans were introduced to his music by their parents.
