Two German citizens were beaten to death in southeastern Spain following a brawl that escalated, according to reports.
Spain Brawl Leaves Two Germans Dead
Police arrested two suspects on Tuesday after a Monday altercation in a rural area of the Costa Blanca, near the town of Elche, regional police stated.
Authorities have not publicly released the nationalities of those killed or the individuals arrested, but El Pais newspaper reported that the victims were German and the suspects were Polish.
The incident reportedly began when the two Germans and a third individual attempted to evict the Polish suspects from a house, leading to a confrontation.
