Chandra’s Path and Weather Warnings

Further north, precipitation is falling as snow over higher ground. Yellow snow warnings are in effect for Scotland and northern England, where 2 to 5cm of snow is expected widely within the warning areas.

Strong and gusty winds have been experienced this morning and are expected to continue throughout the afternoon. An amber wind warning for Northern Ireland is expected to expire around 21:00.

After midday, rain with hill snow will be confined to Scotland and north-east England, with bright or sunny spells and blustery showers for most of the UK. The strongest gusts will be in the west, around the Irish Sea coasts and Northern Ireland.
