Toronto police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an assault in the Church and Wellesley neighbourhood.
Assault Investigation Underway
The incident occurred Saturday at approximately 12:22 a.m., when officers responded to a report of an assault near Church Street and Alexander Street.
According to police, the victim was walking when a vehicle passed by and occupants directed a homophobic slur toward him. The suspects then parked their car and approached the victim on foot.
Police said the victim was subsequently assaulted by the two individuals before the suspects fled the scene in a dark-coloured sedan.
The first suspect is described as a white man, approximately six feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing all-black clothing and a black ski mask.
The second suspect is described as a white man, approximately five feet nine inches tall, with a thin build. He was also wearing all-black clothing and a black ski mask.
