Sweden has made significant strides in modernizing its air force over the past two years, including the selection of the C-390 aircraft to replace its aging C-130H fleet.
Swedish Air Force Modernization Efforts
It has been two years since the last analysis of the Swedish Air Force, and during that time Sweden has achieved several objectives aimed at modernizing its air arm. The country has selected the C-390 as the successor to its C-130H, which has been in service for over 50 years, with deliveries expected to begin soon.
