The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh Al-Fayyad, confirmed today, Sunday, that the Iraqis have proven that they are men of challenge and knights of calamities and difficulties.
Al-Fayad said in his speech on the occasion of Victory Day, which was followed by the (INA): “On Victory Day, we remember an immortal page in our history that was written with great pride and pride by the heroes of the security forces, by all their names, on the day they astonished the world in a great fight that major countries bet was difficult and impossible.”
He added, “Victory Day would not have been achieved had it not been for the fatwa of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid al-Sistani and had it not been for the men who rose to respond to the call and made lives and sacrifices less than the land and the sanctities,” indicating that “the members of the Popular Mobilization Forces fought alongside their brothers from the security forces in valiant epics that broke the bonds of terrorists and obscurantists.” “And revealed their true colors to the world.”
He continued, “In talking about victory and its manifestations, there are unforgettable memories of the martyred leaders who advanced the ranks and instilled in the fighters the spirit of bravery and sacrifice, a tribute of love and reverence for their pure souls,” noting that “the Popular Mobilization Forces are strong, mighty, and are on the same path for which they were founded, which is to preserve the unity of the people.” Iraq, its soil, and the protection of its people and sanctities.”
He explained that “the continuous support and special care that the government gives to the people of the Popular Mobilization Forces places a double responsibility on us to be, as people trust us, safe for our honorable people and their strong shield,” directing a greeting of love and appreciation to “the souls of the sacrificed martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces, to their honorable families, and to their wounded who are marked by the wounds of pride and glory.” .
