Media said that the Zionist War Council is studying a proposal to release about 50 hostages in Gaza in exchange for a month-long truce in the Strip.
The means added, “The War Council discussed a Qatari proposal to release 40 to 50 prisoners of the Zionist entity in Gaza in exchange for a truce that would last for a full month in the Strip.”
She noted that “the Qatari proposal also includes the release of Palestinian prisoners with high sentences in occupation prisons within the framework of the exchange deal.”
She stated, “There is a second stage that appears to be more complex, the details of which have not yet been revealed, but according to estimates, it includes a call to settle the withdrawal of the Zionist entity from the Gaza Strip.”
This comes as clashes continue in the Gaza Strip for the 85th day, with the occupation continuing its intense bombardment of various cities in the Strip, amid a worsening humanitarian catastrophe.
