Poor driving conditions are reported across much of Latvia on Thursday morning, January 8th, due to snow and ice, according to Latvian State Roads (LVC).
Difficult Driving Conditions in Latvia
Difficult driving conditions are present on the main roads A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A10, and A12.
On regional roads, conditions are poor everywhere except in the areas around Bauska, Kuldīga, and Smiltene.
Currently, 38 maintenance units are working to clear the roads.

LVC advises drivers to plan for extra travel time and drive safely.
