Expanded Visa-Free Access
A new report indicates that 93 countries now offer visa-free travel, including India, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Thailand, Malaysia, and China. This expansion is intended to further stimulate the UAE’s tourism industry.
Additionally, UAE residents have access to visa-free travel to a variety of “dream destinations,” including Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Singapore, and Kyrgyzstan.
Visa-on-Arrival Opportunities
There are currently 17 countries that grant visa-on-arrival status to UAE residents, facilitating easier international exploration.
Looking toward 2026, travel opportunities are expected to grow as Turkey, Oman, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Nepal, and Armenia offer exclusive visa-on-arrival access to UAE residents.
Impact on Dubai and Abu Dhabi Tourism
The UAE is also reopening doors to returning residents, joining nations such as Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, India, the UK, and France in efforts to increase travel demand.
