Bus services in Anglesey and parts of Gwynedd have been suspended and travel is being discouraged as severe weather impacts roads across North Wales. A football match has also been postponed due to unplayable conditions.
Weather Disruptions Impact North Wales Travel
Gwynfor Coaches, which operates buses in Anglesey, Caernarfon, Llanberis and Snowdonia, has suspended some services due to roads being “completely unsafe” and drivers being unable to travel to work.
North Wales Police reported “issues in relation to the current weather conditions” affecting the A55 west of Abergwyngregyn, Gwynedd, to Anglesey, as well as the Felinheli bypass. Authorities are advising people to avoid travel unless absolutely essential. More information is available on the North Wales Police Facebook page.
