Seven members of the Monswamy family were kidnapped and murdered in KwaZulu-Natal, leaving the community of Newark in shock and relatives inconsolable.
The victims were abducted and later found murdered in Eshowe. The scale of the tragedy has left the surviving family members devastated, with one brother describing the news of the loss as hitting him “like an AK-47 bullet.”

The Newark area remains in shock following the abduction and killing of the seven family members. Relatives have described themselves as “broken” while attempting to process the massacre.
Family members are currently struggling to arrange funerals for the seven victims as they grapple with the aftermath of the crime.
