/ Media reported, on Saturday, that the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, was subjected to a major Russian attack using drones this morning.
The Sky News Arabia website quoted the local and military administration of Kiev as saying, “The capital is under a major attack using Russian marches,” noting that the sounds of violent explosions were heard in Kiev.
The Ukrainian army was quoted as saying, “Air defenses are dealing with hostile targets in the sky of the capital, Kiev.”
For its part, Reuters quoted a journalist affiliated with it as saying that the Ukrainian capital was subjected to a major attack by drones.
The Ukrainian authorities said that a large-scale attack by Russian suicide marches began at dawn on Saturday in Kiev and led to two wounded, as reported by Agence France-Presse.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on the Telegram platform, “So far two wounded have fallen in the Solomyansky district. They have received medical care at the scene,” according to Agence France-Presse.
He explained that a residential building in this area was damaged by falling debris, while rescue teams were working to extract two women from the rubble.
Several fires broke out in the same area, one of them in a kindergarten, the mayor of the capital added.
Debris of drones shot down by Ukrainian air defenses also occurred in the Pechersky region.
