Five people in Luxembourg have been indicted on suspicion of committing €20 million (approximately $23.9 million) in value-added tax fraud, according to the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Designer Fuel Tax Fraud Scheme
The indictment alleges the individuals were involved in a criminal scheme trading in “designer fuels.” The alleged fraud was announced Thursday by the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
