PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP) is targeting a container throughput of 13.77 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in 2026, projecting logistics flows to grow approximately 10 percent this year.
Container Throughput Growth
The 2026 target follows a recorded container traffic of about 13.34 million TEUs across terminals managed by the company in 2025. This reflects continued growth in cargo movements across SPTP’s network.
In 2025, throughput comprised roughly 8.94 million TEUs of domestic containers and 4.4 million TEUs of international containers.
The increase in container flows is linked to rising shipments of goods, increased vessel calls at several terminals, and stronger commodity activity in various regions.
Pelindo Terminal Petikemas operates multiple container facilities throughout Indonesia, including major hubs connected to Surabaya’s Tanjung Perak Port, a key logistics center and one of the country’s busiest maritime gateways for eastern Indonesia.
