Marie McGrath, formerly of Waterford City and late of Carriglong, Tramore, Co. Waterford, has died peacefully surrounded by family. She passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Marie McGrath: A Life Remembered
Marie, nee Keogh, was predeceased by her husband, John, and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, John, Marina, Mandy, Glenn, Darren, and Neil.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Craig, Beth-Marie, John, Zac, Kelly, Daniel, Paul, Patrick, Aishling, Lyle and Conor; her great-grandchildren, Mia, Zac, Daisymay, Callum, Breda, John and Isla; her brother Jimmy and her sisters Aileen and Patsy; her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, as well as numerous nephews and nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing will be private, as per Marie’s request.
A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10th at 11 a.m. in St. Anne’s Church Ballylaneen, Co. Waterford, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The family has requested that the house remain private at this time.
