St. John’s residents are being reminded of spring garbage collection rules, which take effect April 1st. The city is requiring all garbage placed at the curb to be either contained in a bin with a lid or securely covered with a net.
Garbage Collection Guidelines
The City of St. John’s says the measures are intended to reduce litter and prevent pests from accessing waste. Garbage should not be placed at the curb before 6:00 a.m. on scheduled pick-up days.
