After nine seasons establishing himself as the ultimate Swiss Army knife in New Orleans, Taysom Hill is officially moving on from the franchise. The versatile offensive weapon posted a farewell message confirming his departure on Wednesday, noting that a return to the Saints is not in the plans for the upcoming campaign.

Hill leaves the franchise as the only player in the Super Bowl era to record at least 1,000 career rushing yards, 1,000 receiving yards, and 1,000 passing yards. Throughout his time in black and gold, he lined up at quarterback, running back, fullback, tight end, and wide receiver while also starring on special teams.

According to comprehensive career figures released alongside his departure, Hill finished his Saints tenure having completed 551 of 894 passes for 6,796 yards with 45 passing touchdowns. On the ground, he added 3,132 rushing yards and 42 rushing touchdowns across 689 carries, alongside 125 receptions for 1,157 yards and 11 receiving scores.

His peak scoring output arrived in 2020 and 2022, seasons in which he scored nine touchdowns each year while frequently serving as a goal-line weapon.
