He mentioned that he put his trust in MM to see now whether he did well or not, and that MM can get upset since he is his friend, but there is nothing he can do, concluding that he will sell the team and that is it if he sees things are not working.

Capital police officers from the Traffic Brigade intercepted his vehicle on Șoseaua Pipera traveling at 109 kilometers per hour in a zone restricted to 40 kilometers per hour. Operating without physical legal documents on his person at the time, the 67-year-old owner received a fine and a 90-day license suspension.

Defending his actions in an interview with GSP.ro, Becali argued that the timing of the traffic stop at four in the morning on an empty four-lane road was unfair and stated his intention to contest the penalty in court, adding that he would rely on a designated driver moving forward.
