Digital Science and Citi Foundation Target AI Integration and Global Equity

Digital Science opened applications for its Catalyst Grant 2026 under the theme “Agentic Workflows You Can Trust,” offering up to GBP £25,000 in equity-free funding for early-stage software tools that manage multi-step research tasks. Applicants must submit a prototype, working product, or well-formed concept by October 5, 2026. Simultaneously, the Citi Foundation opened its fourth Global Innovation Challenge 2026 to prepare low-income youth for an AI-driven economy, committing USD $25 million total to support 50 community organizations with USD $500,000 each by the October 6, 2026 deadline.
