Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, and Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, confirmed today, Tuesday, the government’s support and the success of its role.
A statement by Al-Mandalawi’s media office, received by the (INA), stated that “the acting Speaker of the House of Representatives met with the head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, and discussed with him the latest developments on the political scene, and the most prominent developments taking place in the region.”
The statement added, “The importance of maintaining effective coordination between the House of Representatives and all political forces was emphasized to provide the services that the people aspire to, and to legislate laws that have a direct bearing on the lives of citizens, as well as supporting and assisting the government to ensure the success of its role in building Iraq and preserving its security and stability.”
