Barcelona striker Ferran Torres is planning to leave the Catalan team during the current season.
According to the newspaper “AS”, Torres’s decision to leave is due to Barca’s contract with Vitor Roque, who plays as a spearhead and can also play on the wings.
The newspaper pointed out that the relationship is tense between Torres’ agents and Barcelona’s technical staff, due to an incident dating back to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Those close to Torres do not feel that the player has the support of the technical staff, and they consider that he has lost real support following the departure of Matteo Alemany from Barcelona’s management.
Torres believes that he is back in the rankings among Barcelona’s strikers, despite the poor condition of Polish Robert Lewandowski during the recent period.
Torres wants to have the opportunity to participate in matches this season, in order to join the Spain national team in Euro 2024.
