Claire Finnegan, formerly of London, England and Meelick, Swinford, Co. Mayo, has passed away peacefully at her family home. She was surrounded by her son and a team of carers at the time of her death.

Claire is predeceased by her husband, Jim Finnegan, and her brother, Edward Lynskey. She is survived by her son, Rory Finnegan, and his partner, Eirini; grandson Jamie; brother Padraic; sister Carmel; and a wide circle of family and friends.
Reposing will be held at Campbells Funeral Home in Swinford, Co. Mayo (F12 YE00) on Thursday, March 5th, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Following this, her remains will be removed to St. Luke’s Church, Meelick for a prayer service at 7pm.
The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 6th, at St. Luke’s Church at 12 noon, with burial following at Dunmore cemetery, Co. Galway.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on the Campbell Funeral Directors Facebook Page.
