Today, Monday, the national teams of the Deaf Games entered a training camp in Erbil, which will continue until the 15th of January, in preparation for the 10th Asian Games for the Deaf, which will be held in Iran this year.
The Secretary of the Deaf Games Federation, Murtada Muhammad, said in a statement received by the (INA): “The teams participating in the camp are for events (football, athletics, table tennis, judo, wrestling). This came with the aim of early preparation for the Asian tournament, which will be held in… It is hoped that Iraq will have a large share of medals.”
Muhammad added, “The Federation’s strategy aims to achieve an Olympic medal during the next Olympic Games in Japan in 2025, according to the road map followed by the Federation.” The Secretary praised the efforts of the training cadres who work with all effort, sincerity, and in harmony with the Federation’s vision to achieve great achievements for Iraq.
