Kathleen Murray, née Connolly, of Lisdaly, Belmont, Offaly, and formerly of Derryholmes, died unexpectedly on February 5th, 2026, at Galway University Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Chrissie Connolly, her son Sean, granddaughter Chloe, and sister Patty.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Pat, and family members Paddy, Sinead, Lorraine, Catherine, Imelda, Pamela, Sandra, and Jimmy. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, Mark, Áine, Gabrielle, Colin, Lisa, Adam, Nathan, Megan, Colin, and Luke, great-grandson Finley, brother John, and sisters Teresa, Phyllis, and Rosie, as well as in-laws, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Kathleen will repose at her home on Sunday, February 8th, from 3pm to 7pm. Removal will take place on Monday, February 9th, to Ss. Patrick and Saran’s Church, High Street, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Following the Mass, Kathleen will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.
