Cabinet Portal Data Tracks Nationwide Averages

Cabinet pricing figures show the average price for a kilogram of live poultry across retail markets settled at 96.13 Egyptian pounds, marking a slight decline of 1.42 pounds compared to the previous day. At the same time, cabinet portal numbers indicate that white chicken prices started at a lower range of 76.91 pounds in certain distribution channels, while premium local Baladi breeds reached a maximum ceiling of 115.63 pounds.

Red meat prices tracked by the cabinet portal also shifted downward, averaging 422.09 pounds per kilogram, which represents a decrease of 6.5 pounds from prior daily tracking.

Farmgate Execution Versus Retail Rates in Sharqia and Giza

A distinct gap remains between farmgate execution prices and final consumer tags across governorates like Sharqia. Farmgate values for standard white chickens registered at 58 pounds per kilogram, while local retail shops priced them between 70 and 75 pounds. Other regional trackers reported similar farmgate figures near 59 pounds (Al-Ahram).

White egg cartons moved at 93 pounds wholesale, scaling to between 95 and 100 pounds at retail.
