Ailava Samuel of Fiji was crowned Miss Pacific Island Pageant 2026 on Saturday, besting six other contestants in the regional competition held on Fijian soil.

The 19-year-old Samuel also received the Best in Interview award. She acknowledged her family and team for their support in her victory speech, dedicating the win to the entire nation of Fiji.
Samuel is the fourth Fijian woman to win the title, following Anne Dunn’s victory in 2016.
Iampela Popena of Papua New Guinea was named the first runner-up and also won Best Traditional Wear and Miss Internet. Iliganoa Feagaimali’i Soti of Samoa was crowned the second runner-up. Tonga’s Siosi’ana Patricia Taumoepeau took home the third runner-up award, along with Best Sarong and Miss Tourism.
Petra Mataiti of the Cook Islands secured the fourth runner-up position and was awarded Best Talent and Miss Photogenic. Atiterentaai Rinimarawa of Kiribati received the Miss Personality award.
