George Blenkeragh of Ballycroy has died peacefully at Galway University Hospital following a short illness. He was predeceased by his parents, siblings, a nephew, and a niece.

George Blenkeragh: Funeral Arrangements

Mr. Blenkeragh will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary, sons Eóin and Fergus, daughters-in-law Martha and Helen, grandchildren Holly, Emma, Ciarán and Dáire, brothers Fr. Eamonn (Scotland), Joe (Dublin), and sisters Helen Kelly (Bonniconlon), Mary Quinn (Waterford), and Nuala Corcoran (Dublin), as well as extended family, neighbours, and friends.

He will repose at the family Funeral Home, Sweeney’s (F28KF20) on Wednesday, April 1st, from 4pm until 7pm. Removal will take place to the Church of the Holy Family, Ballycroy, arriving at 7.30pm for reception and Funeral Mass.

The Funeral liturgy will be held on Holy Thursday morning at 11am, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. The liturgy will be live-streamed on the Holy Family Church, Ballycroy Facebook page.
