/ The prices of “foreign and Iraqi” gold in the local markets in the capital, Baghdad, decreased slightly, while they stabilized in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, today, Saturday, (November 25, 2023).

Agency correspondent said that gold prices in the wholesale markets on Al-Nahr Street in the capital, Baghdad, recorded this morning, the selling price of one mithqal of 21 carat of Gulf, Turkish and European gold amounted to 441 thousand dinars, and the purchase price was 437 thousand dinars.

Our correspondent indicated that the selling price of one mithqal of 21 carat Iraqi gold was recorded at 411 thousand dinars, and the purchase price reached 407 thousand dinars.

Regarding retail gold prices in goldsmiths’ shops, the selling price of a 21-carat Gulf gold mithqal ranges between 445,000 and 455,000 dinars, while the selling price of an Iraqi gold mithqal ranges between 415,000 and 425,000 dinars.

As for gold prices in Erbil, the selling price of 24 karat gold mithqal was 510 thousand dinars, 21 karat gold was 470 thousand dinars, 21 karat gold was 450 thousand dinars, and 18 karat gold was 390 thousand dinars.

One mithqal of gold is equal to five grams.
