Fatal Mid-Air Collision at Psatha

The human cost of the effort reached a peak during a tragedy near Psatha. Two firefighting helicopters collided and crashed while attempting to extinguish a wildfire. Footage from the newspaper Ta Nea shows the two aircraft approaching and striking one another, causing one helicopter to lose its blades and plummet in flames.
