IDF chief approves wave of strikes against Iran, Hezbollah

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) began striking infrastructure belonging to the Iranian regime in Tehran early Sunday morning, according to the military.

Strikes Follow Iranian Missile Attacks

The strikes follow the IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir’s approval of a new wave of overnight strikes across all current theaters of war following ballistic missile launches from Iran that impacted southern Israel. At least 84 people were wounded in Arad, and another 78 were injured across several impact sites in Dimona.

On Saturday, the Israel Air Force struck a research and development facility used by the Iranian regime to develop nuclear weapons components in Tehran. The facility, located inside Tehran’s Malek-Ashtar University, was also used for the development of ballistic missiles, the IDF stated.

This is a developing story.
